Our story
Mi Pueblo started in 1998 as a small corner panaderia with one oven and a family recipe for conchas.
The ovens still come on before sunrise. We shape the dough by hand, wait for it to rise, and pull the first trays out warm while the neighborhood is still waking up.
Nothing here is frozen or shipped in. It is the same pan dulce the family has been making for three generations, baked fresh for the people who grew up on it and the ones just finding it.
The morning bake
Dough shaped by hand before the sun is up, the way it has been done since day one.

Frequently asked questions
What is pan dulce?
Pan dulce is Mexican sweet bread. It covers a whole family of morning breads like conchas, cuernos, orejas and marranitos. We bake a fresh batch every day.
Do you make custom and quinceañera cakes?
Yes. We make cakes to order for quinceañeras, birthdays, weddings and baptisms. Call us a few days ahead so we can plan the flavor, size and design with you.
Where are you located in Columbus?
We are on the north side of Columbus at 1265 Morse Rd, inside Saraga International Grocery. There is parking in the plaza lot.
Can I order for pickup?
Yes. Add what you want to your cart and check out for pickup. For same-day pan dulce it helps to order in the morning while it is still warm.
Do you sell bolillos and teleras for tortas?
Yes. We bake bolillos and teleras fresh every day, and they hold up great for tortas and sandwiches.
